Job Overview:

As a Penetration Tester at Intelx Inc, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities within our clients’ systems. You will conduct comprehensive penetration tests, simulate cyberattacks, and provide detailed reports and recommendations to enhance security measures. Your expertise will help ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our clients’ data and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

– Conduct thorough penetration tests on web applications, networks, and systems to identify security vulnerabilities.

– Simulate cyberattacks to evaluate the effectiveness of security measures and controls.

– Develop and execute test plans, methodologies, and tools to assess security risks.

– Analyze and interpret test results, identifying potential security threats and weaknesses.

– Provide detailed reports and recommendations for improving security posture and mitigating identified risks.

– Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand security requirements and objectives.

– Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.

– Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and best practices.

– Educate clients and team members on security threats and preventive measures.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

– Proven experience as a Penetration Tester or in a similar role.

– In-depth knowledge of penetration testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.

– Proficiency in using penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nessus, and Nmap.

– Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security architectures.

– Familiarity with common vulnerabilities and attack vectors (e.g., OWASP Top Ten).

– Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.

– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

– Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
